The cherry blossom pattern of depression glass made popular by the Jeannette Glass company is one collectors often seek out. This pattern was produced from around 1930 to 1939 and is a cherished pattern by many depression glass enthusiasts. This pattern of depression glass can be found most commonly in pink and green. There was a full line of glassware produced with the cherry blossom design including plates, cups, pitchers, sugar bowls, cookie jars butter dishes and many others.
Cherry blossom depression glass in pink is the most desireable of the colors produced. Many of these pieces of glass are getting very difficult to find in good condition without chips or excessive scratches. Finding a shot glass or cookie jar in mint condition is sure to fetch a high price on today's antique market. I know i've been trying to fill my mothers collection of pink cherry blossom for several years now. I'm happy to say i've have been able to put together a near complete set of pink cherry blossom and most of the green as well.
